Christine Famiano

Christine Famiano is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in quality management and clinical operations. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Quality Management at Optum since February 2016, Christine oversees the behavioral health team, drives strategic initiatives, and enhances quality improvement efforts. Previous roles include Senior Clinical Quality Analyst and Care Advocate at Optum, where Christine developed performance dashboards, streamlined referral processes, and mentored clinical staff. Prior experience encompasses positions as an Independent Counselor at Courage to Connect Therapeutic Center, Program Counselor at Rosecrance Health Network, and Adolescent Program Coordinator at Presence Health, where Christine successfully launched programs and managed clinical teams. Holding a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University, Christine also contributed to research focused on the prevention of sexual assault as a Research Assistant at Ohio University.
