Colum Foley

Colum Foley is the Senior Director of Data Science at Optum (UnitedHealth Group), where they leverage their extensive expertise in analytics, data mining, and machine learning to drive insights and actions. Previously, Colum served as the Associate Director and Director of Data Science at the same organization and held positions at companies such as IBM and AOL. Colum earned a Ph.D. in Computing from Dublin City University, where they also obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) in Computing. An internationally recognized researcher, Colum has authored over 25 papers and holds a US patent for search engine algorithms developed during their career.
