Danian Liu possesses extensive experience in the healthcare data management and technology sectors, currently serving at Optum Advisory Services since September 2024. Prior to this role, Danian held the position of VP and Head of Enterprise Data at Medica, where responsibilities included developing the company’s data management strategy. Danian’s career at UnitedHealth Group spanned over two decades, with impactful roles such as Sr Director of Digital Consumer Engagement, where leadership in analytics and cloud solutions was demonstrated; Sr Director of Unified Data Warehouse, which involved substantial cost savings and strategic cloud implementations; and Sr Director of the Life Sciences Pillar, contributing to innovations in healthcare research and substantial improvements in patient care. Danian holds advanced degrees from Stanford University and the University of Minnesota, along with a Bachelor’s degree from Bemidji State University.
