Estela Mata-Carcamo

Estela Mata-Carcamo is currently a Measure BP Stakeholder Oversight Committee Member for the City of Baldwin Park and serves as Board Chair and Board Member for the California Chronic Care Coalition. Estela has been an EHR Training and Implementation Specialist at Optum since July 2007 and holds the position of President at Looms for Lupus, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to providing resources and raising awareness about Lupus. Additionally, Estela functions as a Consultant-Ambassador of Hope for Mata Advocacy and Support, advocating for community health collaboration. Volunteer roles include participation in the All of Us Research Program - NIH and the Lupus Research Alliance's Multicultural Task Force, along with contributions as a Patients Rising Delegate. Estela previously served on the board of the LUPUS AND ALLIED DISEASES ASSOCIATION INC from January 2019 to December 2020 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with an emphasis in IT from Azusa Pacific University.
