Michael Shadduck

Michael Shadduck is a seasoned professional in Information Risk Governance with extensive experience in Identity and Access Management, currently serving as the Director at Optum since May 2018. In this role, Michael manages a diverse team of over 80 individuals across multiple countries, focusing on Identity Governance and Administration operations. Prior to this position, Michael held the role of Senior Manager in Enterprise Information Security, overseeing a team dedicated to system and technology integration. Michael also gained valuable experience as an IT Audit Consultant at UnitedHealth Group, where responsibilities included leading audit engagements and mentoring analysts, and as a Senior Information Technology Auditor, identifying risks and controls in IT processes.
