Rohan Ballianda

Rohan Ballianda serves as the Director of IO Engineering and the Director of Systems Management at Optum since June 2020, overseeing a global email team handling around 400 million emails monthly with a 99% delivery rate. Prior experience at UnitedHealth Group from 2005 to 2020 involved directing a global team that delivered over 12 million software installs and managed the implementation of various efficiency initiatives, including the development of a task management portal in ServiceNow. Additional experience includes roles in software integration at UnitedHealth Group and prior consulting positions at Citizens Bank and Boeing. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial and Production Engineering from Bangalore Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
