Ron Stewart

Ron Stewart is an accomplished Information Security professional with extensive experience in project management and team leadership within the technology sector. Currently serving as Segment Information Security Officer and Senior Manager - Information Security Risk Management at Optum since February 2011, Ron has led large, diverse teams and focused on software development and project oversight. Prior experience includes roles as IT Project Manager at UnitedHealthcare, where Ron managed multiple software development teams and oversaw project scheduling and budgets, and as Project Manager and Data Manager at Qwest Communications, where responsibilities included managing in-house software applications and developing reporting systems. Ron holds an MBA in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University and dual BA degrees in Computer Science and Communication from the University of Minnesota and the University of Northwestern – St. Paul, respectively.
