Dominik Mjartan

Dominik Mjartan serves as the Vice Chair and CEO of Optus Bank since September 2017, and also holds the position of Community Bank Advisory Board Member at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since April 2022. Mjartan is a Founding Board Member of Climate First Bank and a Board Member for the National Bankers Association, South Carolina Association for Community Economic Development, and South Carolina Bankers Association, all starting in January 2020. Additionally, Mjartan has been a Board Member of the Community Development Bankers Association since May 2011 and the Midlands Arts Conservatory since November 2018. Previously, Mjartan served as Chairman of the Board for the CDFI Coalition from September 2012 to September 2019 and was a member of the Rotary Club of Little Rock - Club 99 from January 2009 to October 2017. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Ulster University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, among other academic experiences.
