Balazs Berdar

Balazs Berdar has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Balazs began their career as a Software Engineer at T-Com, where they maintained and developed windows applications using C Sharp and Java languages, wrote scripts to improve productivity using JavaScript, and helped the software development team maintain the company website. In 2011, they became a Project Manager at Robert Bosch Kft. In 2014, they took a role as a Front Desk Representative at SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. In 2018, they started working as a Test Engineer II at Gaming Laboratories International, LLC, where they were responsible for testing and analyzing hardware and software of electronic gaming devices to ensure compliance with state, federal and tribal gaming regulatory standards, testing prototypes of games for proper functionality and compliance with regulations, and developing Windows Applications in C# language to generate and execute test scripts for various manufacturer’s products. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Senior Software Engineer In Test at OPTX.

Balazs Berdar received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Miskolc between 2006 and 2010. Balazs then obtained three certifications: Principles of Programming Languages from Arizona State University in January 2023, JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures from freeCodeCamp in June 2018, and Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp in June 2018. Balazs is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at Arizona State University, which they began in 2022.
