Divyam Aggarwal

Divyam Aggarwal, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations research and algorithm design, currently serving as Manager of Operations Research at Optym since October 2020. Previous roles at Optym include Principal and Senior OR Scientist, where Divyam focused on algorithm design and development. Divyam also holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, specializing in Airline Crew Scheduling and Combinatorial Optimization. Notable projects include the development of an optimization framework, AirCROP, which significantly improved airline crew pairing efficiency and led to a patent filing. Earlier experiences encompass a summer internship at New Holland Fiat India focused on supply chain logistics and leading a team in engineering vehicle design competitions at IIT Roorkee. Divyam earned a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and attended DAV Public School Sahibabad.
