Fmp® Susanta Sahu

Susanta Sahu, FMP®, has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Susanta started their career in 2008 as a Customer Relationship Management Manager at Ayush Therapy Center and worked there for two and a half years. In 2010, they joined Stanley lifestyles ltd as an Admin Executive, where they remained until 2013.

In 2013, Susanta joined Novel Team as a Facilities Executive for a brief period of 8 months. Later that year, they transitioned to JLL as a Facilities Executive. In this role, they led a team of 120 support staff and managed 3 Lacs square feet of office space. Susanta was responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the facility and implementing cleaning schedules and procedures.

In 2015, Susanta joined Optym as a Manager Admin & Facilities. Susanta held this position until 2017, during which they handled general administration, logistics, housekeeping, inventory management, access control system, CCTV, asset management, guest house management, event management, and security. Susanta also managed facility retrofit/building consolidation/facility expansion projects. In 2018, their role transitioned to HR & Admin Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Manager Admin & Facilities at Optym, starting in January 2020.

Susanta Sahu, FMP®, has a diverse education history in business administration and management. In 2010, they began their undergraduate studies at the Indira Gandhi National Open University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) degree with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Susanta successfully completed their degree in 2013.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Susanta Sahu continued their education by enrolling in the SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY. From 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration. During this period, they gained a comprehensive understanding of HR management and personnel administration.

In addition to their formal education, Susanta Sahu has also obtained a professional certification in Facility Management. In July 2020, they achieved the Facility Management Professional (FMP®) designation from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
