Andrew Jones

Andrew Jones has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Andrew started their career as an IT Consultant at TEKsystems, where they served as the IT Team Lead and provided technical training to technicians. Andrew was also assigned as the Technical Project Lead for an Intranet Web Migration Project.

In 1998, Jones joined the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst. Andrew performed various roles, including support, administration, and training of personnel. Andrew also took on a supervisory role with administrative duties.

Jones then worked at Applus+ Technologies USA, where they started as an IT Manager, supporting offices in 5 states and leading the migration of a 50-server domain. Andrew later became the Director of IT and played a vital role in starting up the in-house Technology division. Andrew oversaw the IT Infrastructure and Software Development divisions and successfully delivered the company's first Vehicle Inspection Database System. Andrew also implemented a low-cost automated failover system.

Furthermore, they have completed various courses in information security, such as the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Cert Prep series, with a focus on topics like information security governance, risk management, program development, incident management, and IT strategy. These certifications and courses were pursued on LinkedIn, and Andrew completed them in April 2023.
