Tim Builer

Tim Builer has a extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Tim worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Applus Technologies where they were responsible for leading software development teams on various automobile inspection and emission testing projects. Tim provided architecture, development methods, testing methods, and documentation for the team and also managed technical support once projects were released. Prior to their role at Applus Technologies, they were a Technical Lead at QuadTech where they worked on developing Windows-based products using C#, .Net Remoting, and Web Services. Tim interfaced these products with SQL database. Tim also worked as a Technologist at Payroll Freedom where they provided all technical aspects for the company including design, development, installation, documentation, and customer support. Tim was also responsible for maintaining and updating the company website. Before that, Tim served as a Software Engineer at Rockwell Software where they worked on the flagship product RSLogix, involving initial design and development, feature updates, and maintenance. Tim also worked as a Software Engineer at Gray-Soft, Inc., involved in the development of Windows-based programming software and reverse-engineering communication protocols. Tim started their career as an Associate Engineer at Johnson Controls, Inc., where they were involved in developing a GUI for automation software and prototyping designs using Visual Basic.

Tim Builder attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
