Roee Shohat

Roee Shohat has extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Roee is currently the Head of Go to Market at Opus Security, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Telefónica Germany from July 2017 to May 2022, where they served as the Cyber Security Engineering Lead. Before that, they worked at Allianz Group as an Information Security Architect from February 2016 to July 2017. Additionally, they worked at Fortscale as a Security Analytics Architect from February 2014 to May 2015. Roee has also held positions at Elbit Systems Ltd, where they served as the Cyber Simulation Manager from January 2013 to February 2014 and as the Lead IT Infrastructure Architect from December 2007 to January 2013. Roee began their career at the Israeli Air Force, where they worked as an IT System Administrator from August 2002 onwards and later served as the IT Admin Team Leader from 2005 to 2007.

Roee Shohat attended Reichman University from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a major in Computer Science. In April 2020, they obtained a certification in (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) from (ISC)² institution.
