Alla al-Habsi

Alla Al-Habsi is a seasoned professional in sustainability, currently serving as a Senior Sustainability Specialist at OQ8 since June 2023. Previously, Alla held the position of Sustainability Manager at Destination Sustainability from June 2020 to May 2023, and worked there from June 2017 to June 2020 as a Social Investment Specialist and Data Analyst. With certifications in GRI reporting and Social Return on Investment (SROI), Alla has developed social impact assessments and community needs assessments primarily for the Oil and Gas sector. Earlier roles include Social Investment Analyst at Sustainable Square and CSR Trainee at OMRAN, complemented by a training experience at the Ministry of Tourism. Alla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainable Tourism and Regional Development from the German University of Technology in Oman, obtained in 2014.
