Peter Hermans

Peter Hermans has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Peter is currently working as a Senior User Experience Designer at Oqton, Inc since October 2020. Prior to that, they spent seven years at 3D Systems Corporation, starting as a User Experience Designer and gradually advancing to the role of Senior User Experience Designer and UI/UX Design Manager. In this role, they managed and collaborated with a small UI/UX team across different regions on various hardware, software, and service products. Before joining 3D Systems Corporation, Peter co-founded and owned Jewelco, a venture which they pursued from January 2012 to September 2013. Peter also gained experience in the field of 3D printing design as a Graduate student at i.materialise, working at Materialise from March 2011 to August 2011. Additionally, Peter worked as a Design project intern at the LEGO Concept Lab and as a 3D printing design specialist at the Rapid Manufacturing department of TNO Science and Industry. Peter began their career as a Design intern at Jaguar Advanced Design and as a Junior Designer at freedom of creation. Peter has a well-rounded professional background in user experience design, 3D printing, and design management.

Peter Hermans completed their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Strategic Product Design at Delft University of Technology from 2009 to 2011.
