Kaiwen Hu

Kaiwen Hu, Ph.D, is a co-founder and Vice President of Research at ORA Graphene Audio, a company specializing in advanced Graphene-based nanomaterials for high-performance audio products. With extensive experience in materials engineering, Kaiwen conducted significant research as a Graduate Research Assistant at McGill University, focusing on high energy density Si, Sn-graphene anodes for lithium-ion batteries, while also serving as a teaching assistant for graduate-level courses. Previous roles include Materials Engineer at TandemLaunch Inc., and undergraduate research positions at the University of Toronto, where work involved optimizing electrode materials for electrochemical devices. Kaiwen holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from McGill University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto.
