Benjamin Ellis

Benjamin Ellis, PhD, is a motivated and curious researcher with over 10 years of experience in data-driven product development. They have held roles as Data Scientist at Sauce Labs and Exact Sciences, and currently serve as Principal Applied Scientist at Oracle. Benjamin's background includes a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with an M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Theoretical Chemistry from Syracuse University. Most recently, they focused on developing data and machine learning models for electronic health records, with an interest in pursuing NLP-centric positions in the future.
