Chao Li

Chao Li currently serves as a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, where responsibilities include building a large semantic object pipeline and leading the development of a new incident management tool for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Reliability. Previously, Chao Li worked at Microsoft as an SDE II, contributing to the Gateway Metadata Service and developing an NLP pipeline that integrated Bing's ranking techniques with Office data, as well as playing a key role in building Copilot. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at Symantec, where Chao Li worked on cybersecurity education simulations and cloud platform projects, and at State Street, where the OTC hub pricing system was refactored. Chao Li began a career in software development at Brandeis University while completing a Master’s degree in Computer Science and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Software Engineering from Northeastern University, China.
