Dario Jimenez Pena

Dario Jimenez Pena is a Software Engineer at Oracle, specializing in the development of new features for Oracle RDBMS and Database technologies, focusing on performance and availability through expertise in Operating Systems, Distributed Systems, and advanced data structures. Previously, Dario served as Embedded Systems Lead at Texas Guadaloop, where responsibilities included designing architecture for safety-critical vehicles in hyperloop competitions, along with experience as an Embedded System Engineer developing software for such vehicles. In addition, Dario held leadership roles with UT IEEE RAS and completed multiple Software Engineer Internships at Amazon. Dario earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2024.
