Gagan Arora is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Oracle since November 2018, Gagan focuses on building high-performance engineering teams within the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure organization. In addition, Gagan volunteers as a TEALS teacher for AP Computer Science at Bellevue High School, guiding students through a college-level programming curriculum in Java. Previously, Gagan held the position of Director of Technology at Expedia, Inc. and managed software development teams at Amazon.com, where expertise was applied in developing a global scalable platform for transaction processing. Prior roles include VP & Head of Engineering at MetricStream and Director of Product Development at i2 Technologies. Gagan holds a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MS from UC Santa Barbara.
