Ian Henckel is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and pipeline management. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Oracle since September 2025, Ian previously held the role of Director of Pipeline Engineering and Senior Studio Pipeline Engineer at Sphere Entertainment Co. from April 2022 to August 2025. Prior to that, Ian spent a decade at DreamWorks Animation, progressing through various technical roles, including Lead Technical Director. Ian's early career included web development positions at Carlson School of Management, Positronic Solutions, LLC, and Site Genie LLC. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, obtained between 2009 and 2011.
