Ismael Rivas has over 25 years of experience in sales and management within the technology sector. Since joining Oracle in 2007, Rivas has held various leadership positions, including Sales VP for the Telco Industry in Latin America, VP for CX/DX4C in Latin America, Regional Sales Director, Sales Director, and Sales Manager. Rivas also served as Vice Presidente de Tecnologia for Oracle Mexico from July 2018 to June 2020 and as Director of Sales for Oracle Centroamerica during the same period. Rivas began the career at ALU Technologies, where Rivas was Sales Director from 1998 to 2002. Rivas holds a Master's degree in Administration from Tecnológico de Monterrey, earned between 1992 and 1994.

Oracle hardware products include Oracle Engineered Systems, servers, storage and industry-specific products, among others. Customers generally opt to purchase hardware support contracts when they purchase Oracle hardware products. Oracle also offers services to assist its customers and partners to maximize the performance of their Oracle purchases.
