Puneet Sharma

Puneet Sharma is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in network control, security products, and automation, currently serving as a Senior Manager at Oracle since October 2018. In this role, Puneet has focused on building control planes for hyper-scale networks and leading the OCI Bastions service, which facilitates secure access to cloud resources. Previously, Puneet held various roles at Optym, including Principal Software Engineer, where leadership in product development and integration of advanced technologies was achieved. Early career experiences include positions at Lutron Electronics, Microsoft, and research assistantships with leading academics. Puneet holds a Master of Science in Computer Sciences from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
