Stephen Green has extensive experience in machine learning research and application, currently serving as Senior Director of the Machine Learning Research Group at Oracle Labs since September 2010. Prior roles at Oracle include Director and Architect within the same group, as well as a Consulting Member of Technical Staff focused on enterprise computing search applications. Before joining Oracle, Stephen was the Lead Data Architect at The Echo Nest and held the position of Senior Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems, where responsibilities included serving as Principal Investigator for the AURA project. Stephen's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the University of Waterloo.
