Tomas Ulin

Tomas Ulin is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in MySQL development and management. Currently serving as Vice President of MySQL Development at Oracle since February 2010, Ulin's previous roles include Director of MySQL Server Development and Director of MySQL Cluster at Sun Microsystems, as well as Director of MySQL Cluster at MySQL. Ulin's career also features positions as General Manager and Investment Manager at Ericsson, and Manager and Researcher at Telia Research. Ulin began professional training as a PhD student and researcher at the Royal Institute of Technology. Educational achievements include a PhD in Computer Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, an MSc in Applied Physics from Case Western Reserve University, and an MSc in Engineering Physics from Uppsala University.
