Yogeesh Kapila

Yogeesh Kapila has extensive experience in the field of computer science and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Oracle since December 2019, focusing on security machine learning platforms. Previously, Yogeesh was a Member of Technical Staff involved in the OCI Cloud Guard security product at Oracle. Prior to Oracle, Yogeesh worked at Philips as a Software Engineer, where responsibilities included enhancing performance through JOOQ implementation and developing platform services with Java Spring Boot while ensuring compliance with GDPR. Early in the career, Yogeesh served as a Graduate Course Assistant at USC Viterbi School of Engineering and held various internships, including a role at IIT Delhi. Yogeesh holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Southern California and an Engineering Degree in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
