Gianluca Maguolo

Gianluca Maguolo has extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Gianluca currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Oraigo, a role they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Oraigo from February 2019 to September 2021.

During their time as a PhD candidate at Università degli Studi di Padova from October 2018 to September 2021, Gianluca focused on artificial intelligence, specifically in the field of computer vision. Their research interests included computer vision for medical AI, neural networks ensembles, and active learning.

Gianluca has also worked as an AI Scientist at Bending Spoons in June 2021 to August 2021, and as a Research Student at Fondazione Bruno Kessler - FBK in May 2018 to August 2018. Gianluca began their career as a Junior Analyst at Fincons Group from October 2017 to January 2018.

Gianluca Maguolo has a strong educational background in mathematics and natural sciences. Gianluca obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Università degli Studi di Padova in 2015. Gianluca continued their education at the same university and completed their Master's degree in Mathematics in 2017. During this time, they were also enrolled in Scuola Galileiana, where they pursued a degree in Natural Sciences. Alongside their academic achievements, Gianluca Maguolo also obtained a certification in IELTS from the British Council in September 2017.
