Jordi Abella Esplugas

Jordi Abella Esplugas has a work experience spanning from 2008 to present. Jordi started their career at the Computer Vision Center and held various roles including Analyst-Programmer, Programmer, and Training. In these positions, they worked on prototyping solutions in Matlab/Python, designed and implemented the core controller of an autonomous mobile robot using C++/ROS, and integrated sensory systems. In 2016, they joined Orain Technologies as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, where they worked as a system analyst, embedded software architect, and machine learning specialist.

Jordi Abella Esplugas completed their education at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2003 to 2010, obtaining a degree in Ingeniero en informática. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in various subjects, including "From the Big Bang to Dark Energy" from Coursera in September 2014, "Cryptography I" from Coursera in February 2014, and "Machine Learning" from Coursera in December 2013.
