Mark Zajkowski has extensive work experience in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Mark started their career in 1999 at Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Associates, where they served as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon and Medical Director. Mark'sresponsibilities included a wide range of surgical procedures, accreditation oversight, and various administrative duties.

Following this, they attended UCLA from 1989 to 1993, where they received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in Dentistry.
In 1994, Mark enrolled in Harvard Medical School, where they pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine until 1996. Mark then returned to UCLA and attended the UCLA School of Dentistry from 1989 to 1993, obtaining a second DDS degree in Dentistry.
Furthering their education, Mark pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Healthcare Management from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. Mark completed this program from 2013 to 2016.
In addition to their formal education, Mark Zajkowski has obtained several certifications. In 1997, they became a Diplomate of the United States Medical Licensing Examiners (USMLE). In 1998, they earned the Diplomate status with the Northeast Dental Board of Examiners. Mark also holds fellowships with the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, which they achieved in 2013 and 2001, respectively. Moreover, Mark holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, both from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, received in 2014.
