Fraser Robinson

Chief Advisor, Enabling Communities & Investment at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children

Fraser Robinson is an experienced professional currently serving as Commissioning Manager and Principal Advisor - Māori, Partnerships and Communities at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children since September 2022. Prior to this role, Fraser was a Private Secretary and Senior Advisor at Te Arawhiti, supporting Hon Kelvin Davis in Māori Crown Relations from January 2021 to September 2022. Fraser also worked as an Advisor in the Te Kāhui Hīkina team at the Ministry of Justice - New Zealand from October 2018 to January 2021, focusing on Māori engagement in public sector capability, and held the position of Judicial Publications Officer, publishing judicial content from the District Court. Earlier experience includes serving as MP Support to Ria Bond in the Parliamentary Service from June 2015 to January 2018, where responsibilities included managing communications and policy research. Fraser holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Otago.
