Pete Philp has extensive experience in system management and advisory roles within various governmental and organizational frameworks. Currently serving as Systems Lead for the Corporate Services Portfolio at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children since August 2020, Pete previously held multiple positions at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) from January 2017 to August 2020, including Senior Advisor for the Commercial Portfolio and various systems analyst roles. With a decade-long tenure at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade from September 2006 to January 2017, Pete managed the Ministry's consular case management and emergency response applications. Additionally, Pete worked as IT Manager and in various administration and IT roles at PrintNZ from September 1995 to September 2006.
