Attila Popping

Attila Popping, Ph.D., is an accomplished data scientist and leader in the field of data intelligence, currently serving as the Faction Lead for Data Intelligence at Orange Business since November 2023. Popping has extensive experience in machine learning and natural language processing, demonstrated through the role of Senior Data Scientist and Developer at UWV, focusing on developing NLP algorithms for document information extraction. Previous leadership roles include Faction Lead at Business & Decision and significant contributions to data-driven projects at TNO and TMC. Popping's early career involved impactful research at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research, where contributions included managing large datasets and mentoring students.
