Nicolas Ekicier

Nicolas Ekicier is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in remote sensing and image processing, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Orange Business since October 2024. Previously, Nicolas worked at KERMAP as a Remote Sensing Researcher from November 2020 to October 2024, focusing on the development of machine and deep learning solutions in environmental and agricultural domains. Prior roles include positions at CLS Group and Technology & Strategy, where methods for analyzing satellite imagery and maritime surveillance projects were developed. Nicolas began a career in remote sensing research at GEOSYS and served as an independent consultant at JLR Conseil, demonstrating expertise in land management analytics. Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and a Bachelor’s in Geography and Cartography from Université de Bourgogne.
