Nicholas Johnson

Nicholas Johnson has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology and engineering industry. Nicholas currently serves as the CEO of Orange Charger, where they focus on creating software and hardware solutions to streamline the installation and management of electric vehicle charging networks for multi-unit properties. Prior to this, they were the Founder and CTO of LYT, an early-stage vehicle communication company that developed an artificial intelligent cloud-based transit signal priority system to minimize bus delays and optimize regional traffic signals.

Nicholas also worked as an Electrical Engineer at Tesla Motors, where they contributed to the development of electrical systems. Nicholas gained experience as a Summer Firmware Intern at Particle, where they worked on firmware for the Photon communication protocols and supported the community forums. Additionally, Nicholas worked as a Software Developer at Atomic Squared Consulting, where they created websites and web/mobile apps for clients like Yelp, Hired, and Adroll.

Earlier in their career, Nicholas gained valuable experience as an Electrical Engineering Intern at SOLUTIONS CUBED LLC, where they designed and tested hardware for clients, specializing in lithium battery testing and LED lighting. Nicholas Johnson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from California State University, Chico, where they studied from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended College of Marin from 2010 to 2011, also pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In their earlier education, Nicholas attended Redwood High School from 2005 to 2009. Nicholas also received an additional certification in Self Driving Car Nanodegree from Udacity in August 2017.
