Kapil Mathur, MBA, is the Founder and Executive Director of the Orange County Academy of Sciences and Arts, a public charter school established to provide a tuition-free education for K-12 students, emphasizing diversity and individual strengths. OCASA is a public charter school offering a tuition-free education for students from Kindergarten to 8th Grade. OCASA students learn by doing. They are encouraged to ask questions, take risks, make discoveries, observe patterns, exhibit creativity, and reflect on their own work. With an emphasis on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, our students will apply real-world experiences to understand new concepts. Multiple hands-on labs on campus, including Science Lab, Maker Lab, Audio/Visual Lab with Music, Arts Lab, Resource Lab, and Practical Life Studio, encourage exploration and experimentation under the guidance of OCASA's teachers and staff.
