Dain Weister

Dain Weister has extensive experience in communications and public affairs. Dain served as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at Orange County Clerk of Courts, where they were responsible for leading and managing a team and budget, as well as overseeing all external and internal communications and public affairs. Prior to that, they worked as the Communications Manager/Public Information Officer/Spokesman at the Florida Department of Health, where they handled strategic communication, risk and crisis communication management, media relations, and community engagement. Dain also worked as a News Reporter/Fill-In Anchor/Sports at WFTV Channel 9 and as a News Reporter at WINK-TV. Throughout their career, Dain has been recognized for their exceptional storytelling skills and has received several awards for their work in journalism and communication.

Dain Weister obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a specialization in Radio and TV from the University of Central Florida. In addition to their degree, they also hold a certification as an Advanced Public Information Officer for Health & Hospital Emergencies, which was obtained in June 2014 from FEMA.
