Denovan A. Lino

Denovan A. Lino has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Denovan A. began their career as an Operations Administrator at Disneyland Resort in 2002. Denovan A. then worked as a Paralegal at the Law offices of Washburn and Mayers before transitioning to a Life Insurance Agent at Primerica.

In 2005, Denovan joined the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America, where they held various positions. Denovan A. managed afterschool programs and supervised outreach units, and also served as a Scoutreach Coordinator. During their time at Orange County Council, they oversaw paraprofessionals, conducted Spanish-language Roundtables, and organized camping trips for youth.

Denovan moved to the Boy Scouts of America Catalina Council in 2008 and served as a District Director and the acting Field Director. Denovan A. led major campaigns and managed volunteers in diverse communities, establishing the Outreach Program.

In 2014, they transferred to the Boy Scouts of America, Great Salt Lake Council, where they worked as a Field Director and the All-Markets Director. Denovan A. supervised district executives, implementing membership and financial goals. In 2017, Denovan became the Director of Field Services/COO, leading cross-functional employees to ensure operational excellence.

Denovan returned to the Boy Scouts of America, Great Salt Lake Council in 2019 as the Interim Scout Executive. Denovan A. later joined the Orange County Council, Boy Scouts of America, in 2020 as the Director of Development and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, they have focused on expanding and engaging membership in Scouting, collaborating with executives, and securing necessary resources for the organization's goals and program delivery.

Overall, Denovan A. Lino has displayed leadership and expertise in various positions within the Boy Scouts of America, as well as experience in insurance, law, and operations.

Denovan A. Lino obtained a post-master's certificate in I/O Psychology from Grand Canyon University in the years 2018-2019. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Phoenix, with the year of completion being 2015. In 2006, Denovan earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in Diversity equity, and inclusion for HR from eCornell in June 2023.
