Orange County Employee Benefits Council (OCEBC)
Mission Statement: The Orange County Employee Benefits Council (OCEBC) is dedicated to providing engaging networking opportunities and the exchange of topical information and education for members to enhance careers and contribute to the betterment of the employee benefits field. Founded locally in 1978, OCEBC is a dynamic organization of professionals whose principal employment is in or is impacted by the employee benefits field. The OCEBC has a diverse membership drawn from employers, insurance consultants and brokers, group marketing representatives, life underwriters, CPA’s, attorneys, third-party administrators, providers, HMO’s, PPO’s, utilization review organizations and other professionals involved in the industry. The OCEBC holds virtual and in-person meetings featuring speakers from various segments of the industry along with 3 members only events each year. The organization works diligently to secure high quality speakers who can share their pertinent insights on contemporary issues affecting the world of employee benefits. The council strives for balance in its presentation offerings so that national perspectives on health care are compared and contrasted with various economists’ and industry analysts’ views on business issues in Orange County. Important and controversial subjects also are explored so that members can use the most current information and trends in their daily client work. Since its founding, the OCEBC has been fortunate to be lead by many veteran leaders within the Orange County employee benefits industry. For almost 40 years, the council has remained the premier benefits organization in Southern California.
