Scott Kuhlman

Scott Kuhlman is a highly experienced fire investigator and instructor, currently serving as a Captain and Fire Investigator at the Orange County Fire Authority since August 2019, where responsibilities include leading complex fire investigations and supervising multi-agency efforts. In addition, Scott holds the position of Past President at the California Conference of Arson Investigators and teaches fire investigation courses as an Adjunct Instructor at both San Diego Miramar College and Fresno City College. Previous experience includes roles as a Fire Investigator at EFI Global and Advanced Analysis Inc., as well as a Captain/Fire Investigator at the Garden Grove Fire Department for 25 years. Scott is pursuing a Master of Science in Forensic Science from Oklahoma State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Fire Administration focused on Fire Investigation and a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management from prior studies.
