Jacob Whitney is an experienced web developer and technology trainer with a strong background in teaching web development and technical subjects at the Orange County Library System since December 2017. Responsibilities include instructing on PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, WordPress, and various software applications, as well as developing programming projects for classroom demonstration. Previously, as a reference clerk, Jacob directed customers to library resources and taught skill-building classes. Prior experience includes working as a web developer for Distinctly Yours Fine Design & Interiors, where website creation and maintenance in WordPress were key responsibilities, alongside optimizing user engagement using Google Analytics and AdWords. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Florida State University and an Associate of Arts in Computer and Information Sciences from Valencia College.
