Steve Powell

Steve Powell has extensive experience in library and project management, currently serving as the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Orange County Library System since December 2007, with previous roles including Interim Director/CEO, Chief Operating Officer, and Facilities & Operations Department Head. Prior to this, Steve worked at Lennar from March 2005 to December 2007 as a Quality Manager and Senior Project Manager. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia State University, a Master of Library & Information Science from Valdosta State University, and participation in Executive Education at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
