Katelyn Young has worked in various roles since 2014. Katelyn began their career as the Chief Tanning Officer at The Painted Lady Tanning & Spa, where they were responsible for running the salon, managing client scheduling, selling merchandise and packages, and training new employees. In 2015, they became the Assistant Volunteer Director at the Napa Valley Film Festival, where they facilitated volunteer scheduling, handbook, and training materials, assisted in recruiting and training of volunteers, and handled communications and enrollment of volunteers. In 2020, they joined Catholic Charities Fort Worth as a Grants and Foundations Program Specialist and a VISTA Advancement Specialist. Katelyn also began working at Literacy Instruction for Texas (LIFT) as a Program Assistant, where they managed program communications and assisted students in transitioning to distance learning for high school equivalency and work prep programs, facilitated enrollment and training of career and financial literacy classes, and conducted research to develop best practices for the programs, including social media marketing. In 2022, they joined OCMA / Orange County Museum of Art as a Membership Manager and Philanthropy Associate.

Katelyn Young graduated from the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, majoring in Information Systems.
