Sonia Ensenat

Sonia Ensenat serves as the Board President (volunteer) for Best Friend Pet Adoption since September 2023 and holds the position of Information Technology Application Manager at Orange County (N.C.) Government since 2015, leading a team of IT systems analysts to support government technology needs. Sonia's experience includes roles as an IT Systems Analyst, Program Manager, and Lead Coordinator at the North Carolina Housing Coalition, as well as positions at Nightstky Systems, Inc. and Pratt & Whitney. Sonia earned a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a strong background in technical support, database management, and system implementation.
