Amanda Kimmer

Amanda "Mandy" Kimmer, APR, CPRC, has extensive experience in public relations and marketing, currently serving as the Public Information Officer for Orange County Government since November 2007. In this role, Amanda oversees communications for a vast park system that caters to millions annually, creating press releases, articles, and managing social media. Previously, Amanda held various positions, including Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator for Mayor Richard T. Crotty's youth initiative and roles in nonprofit organizations such as OneBlood and the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America. Amanda has also served in leadership roles with the Florida Public Relations Association, fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. Educational achievements include a BA in Public Relations, Journalism, and Economics from Florida Southern College.
