Jay Verdesca has been a dedicated educator at Orange County Public Schools since September 1994, currently serving as Lead Teacher overseeing the Universal Education Center at Universal Studios Orlando. In this role, Jay coordinates various activities and functions throughout the year. As a Math and Science teacher, Jay is responsible for teaching a diverse high school student body in subjects including Biology, Physical Science, Geometry, Algebra II, and Advanced Algebra with Finance. Prior experience includes work as a Special Educator. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida State University and an education certification from the University of Central Florida.
