Franklin McCune has worked in various administrative and management positions for the past thirteen years. Franklin began their career as a Graduate Assistant at Florida International University before moving on to The University of Miami, where they worked as the Assistant Director of the Butler Center for Service & Leadership. After a brief stint at The Center for Leadership and Service, they took on the role of Director of Student Life at Miami Dade College. In November 2014, they joined City Year Miami as their Senior Operations Manager, a position they held until March 2021. Most recently, they have been working as the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent & Board Specialist at ORANGE COUNTY SCHOOLS.

Franklin McCune's educational career includes a BS in Physical Education from Florida International University and an MS in Higher Education Administration from the same school.
