Chhai An is an experienced application developer currently working at Orange County Superior Court since April 2020. Prior to this role, Chhai An developed technical skills as a Court Technology Trainee at the Superior Court of California, County of Orange, where responsibilities included creating a migration program to transition systems to Azure and developing applications with K2. Chhai An also had experience as an Application Developer Intern, focusing on report creation using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and data migration projects involving SharePoint Online. Earlier academic and professional experience includes a position as a Student Assistant and Tutor at Long Beach City College, where support was provided to students in Computer Science coursework. The Superior Court of California, County of Orange, is the fifth largest trial court in the nation. The Court handles over 500,000 annual case filings and serves the County’s population, which exceeds 3 million. The Court operates five justice centers, in eight locations throughout Orange County, and handles all types of state cases including civil, criminal, traffic, family, juvenile, and probate. We have over 140 judicial officer positions and employ over 1500 people in more than 70 different job classifications to perform a wide range of functions including accounting, office and courtroom support, computer programming and system support, legal research, family mediation services, and administrative management.
