Jen Ha Lu, PHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as Administrative Manager I at the County of Orange, where responsibilities include educating management on HR policies, managing staffing for HCA Records, conducting recruitments, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. With extensive experience in human resources, Jen has worked at the Orange County Superior Court in various roles from Human Resources Specialist I to Senior Human Resources Specialist, administering leave programs, conducting classification studies, and partnering with risk management. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology at Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.

The Superior Court of California, County of Orange, is the fifth largest trial court in the nation. The Court handles over 500,000 annual case filings and serves the County’s population, which exceeds 3 million. The Court operates five justice centers, in eight locations throughout Orange County, and handles all types of state cases including civil, criminal, traffic, family, juvenile, and probate. We have over 140 judicial officer positions and employ over 1500 people in more than 70 different job classifications to perform a wide range of functions including accounting, office and courtroom support, computer programming and system support, legal research, family mediation services, and administrative management.
