Tanya Vu has a diverse range of work experience. Tanya started their career at Document Control Solutions in 1991 as a Technical Support Manager, where they successfully directed and coordinated technical support operations. In 1997, they joined FileNet Corporation as a Customer Sales & Support Team Lead, where they led a team of Systems Engineers and oversaw call response and resolution for client application products. Later, they became a Systems Consultant Specialist Manager, leading a team of Systems Consultant Specialists to provide pre-sales support and conduct product presentations and demonstrations. In 2002, Tanya joined IBM as a Product Manager, where they provided leadership and project management expertise to optimize the requirements process and ensure successful product launches. Currently, they are working as the Information Technology Director at Orange County Superior Court, where they utilize their skills and experience to manage IT operations.
Tanya Vu graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems.
Orange County Superior Court
The Superior Court of California, County of Orange, is the fifth largest trial court in the nation. The Court handles over 500,000 annual case filings and serves the County’s population, which exceeds 3 million. The Court operates five justice centers, in eight locations throughout Orange County, and handles all types of state cases including civil, criminal, traffic, family, juvenile, and probate. We have over 140 judicial officer positions and employ over 1500 people in more than 70 different job classifications to perform a wide range of functions including accounting, office and courtroom support, computer programming and system support, legal research, family mediation services, and administrative management.
